Ten on Tuesday ~ Coupon Style

Here are 10 random things about coupons!

1. Always check the stores coupon policy. You may even want to print it and carry it with you!
2. Most stores will take a store coupon and a manufactures coupon making for some GREAT deals!
3. Check out some coupon sites where you can trade coupons you won't use. A Full Cup is my favorite.
4. Always shop with a LIST
5. Don't go to the grocery store hungry or pregnant :)
6. Take your own reusable bags. Many stores will give you a credit for them.
7. Use your MVP, VIC, Kroger plus, CVS card etc. every time to make sure you get the sale prices.
8. Use Internet printable coupons- make sure the store takes them first!
9. Email companies of products you like and compliment them. They just might send you some coupons.
10. Add coupons to your store cards from places like shortcuts.com and P&G Saver. These will come off along with a manufactures coupon.
    

2 Baby things I like for Baby #2

I was in Babies R Us the other night with my Mother in law and we were looking at all the cute baby stuff. Why is it that they come out with such cool stuff after you have the 1st child??? I would totally pick out different things if I could do it all over again and it's only been 2 years. If baby #2 is a girl then I will be able to get some girly stuff but if it's a boy I don't know how much more stuff we could fit into our house!

I was browsing through the Baby aisle at Target and I saw these the other day. They are Munchkin Fresh Totes. They are perfect for a nursery, diaper bag or as an air freshener really anywhere!

My sister sent me one of these nice smelling Munchkin Diaper Fresh Dispenser for baby #2! These are so easy to use and have great smelling bags.

Kmart & Harris Teeter trips

I am visitng with my family this weekend and they have a Kmart participating in Super Double coupons (up to and including $2) and a Harris Teeter which is tripling coupons up to and including .99!

Here are some details from my trips.

Kmart

2) Mens Gillette body wash @4.49 each - $2 coupons

Old Spice Deoderant @3.99 - $2 coupon

2) ADIDAS deoderants on clearance @1.89 each

Nivea chapstick @ 2.49 - $1 coupon

2) Johnsons & Johnsons sterile pads @ 1.69 each - $1 coupon

Garnier leave in condition @ 3.99 - $2 coupon

Soft Scrub scrubby pads @2.79 - $1.50 coupon

4) Glad Candles @2.50 each - 2) 1.50 coupons

2) Glade candle refills @2.50 each - $2 coupon

Trident Xtra gum @1.49 - .75 coupon

I don't think the Glade coupons worked like I had planned but we use them all the time and they were still relativly cheap. Total before coupons was about $50 and after coupons $14.21. I did much better the last time Kmart had this promotion but with it being the end of the week they were out of a lot of items.

Harris Teeter

I also bought some flowers to give to someone whose house we are going to for dinner so my total without the flowers was $4.57

My mom and I may try and go to another Harris Teeter tomorrow moring!

Target Trip!

I did get to Target today for one of their Gift Card deals. I bought a Schick Intuition and a Schick Quattro razor for $6.99 each. I used the coupons from Sundays paper for each of the razors bringing them to $2.99 each and then got the $5 gift card. That's about $1 for 2 really nice razors! If you can get your hands on some extra coupons then you could continue to roll the gift cards.

I just read over at Frugal in Virginia that select Kmart locations will once again be doubling manufacturer's coupons up to and including $2 next week (March 22nd-28th). It has been a while since my local Kmart participated and they are not this time either but I did get some awesome deals when they did!
