Review: I must admit I was a little skeptical when I first started reading about the SodaStream soda maker. Could it really be that easy to make your own soda? I am a big soda drinker so I had to try it out for myself. I received the SodaStream fountain jet in black with a variety of sodamixes and flavorings. It was so easy, and fun!

I have to say the Cranberry Raspberry and Orange are my favorite. I am pretty picky on my diet coke but I did enjoy the diet cola. It wasn't the exact flavor I was used to but it was refreshing. You may have to experiment some to see exactly how much carbonation you want but the recommendation is to press the button three times. As I explained in the video you can also experiment with the sodamix to find the right combination for your taste. A cap ful is the normal amount needed but if you want it to be a little heavier add more sodamix, it's that easy.

If you aren't a big soda drinker you can also make seltzer or sparkling water using the fountain jet. I know I need to drink more water and adding a dash of flavor makes it more refreshing to me. The MyWater Flavor Essence available include berry, orange and lemon lime.

The SodaStream soda maker is not only earth friendly but it's a great addition to any kitchen. It's always great to have a fun and functional item in the kitchen. With the soda maker you can keep a variety of flavors around and it's much cheaper than purchasing cans and cans of different sodas. Older kids will have a great time making their own sodas. Any of the SodaStream soda makers would be a great gift for the gadget lover or for that hard to shop for person.
