I charged it using the usb cable that came with it and my computer.  It will need to charge for a few hours the first time.  Once it's charged you are ready to upload pictures.  It was very easy to add photos from my computer to the keychain.  I was amazed at how many pictures it holds.  I don't have it completely filled and there are 35 pictures loaded!  For each picture you can zoom in, zoom out, rotate and more around the selection box to highlight exactly which part of the photo you want to show up.  Once you have all your pictures uploaded save them to the keychain and your ready to go.  The default is for the pictures to appear as a slide show; you can change how long each picture is displayed or you can turn the slide show off.  Possibly the best feature of this keychain is the auto shut off.  As a busy mom with a lot of different things going on this is one less thing I need to worry about.  Charge your digital photo keychain once a month and it will always be ready when you need a photo fix.
