Review: You have to check out The Celebration Shoppe, you will never have to worry about a party theme again; you can purchase everything from invitations, paper products and decorations in one place.  I have been thinking about my daughter's 1st birthday for months.  Needless to say I purchased and returned multiple paper products until finally settling on a pink and green theme.  When I received a sample of the celebration shoppe cupcake topper in a box from Mom Magazine I knew I had to get in contact with the owner Kim and see what products I might be able to use to enhance my daughters 1st Birthday party theme.  I was having a hard time deciding which theme might work best for my needs so I gave Kim a call and she was very helpful.

I decided on the printables from the Woodland Fairy theme, it included the colors I wanted and many of the printables had flowers on them.  This product gives you the chance to add a handmade touch to your party.  While my daughter is still to young to be proud of my for making the items for her birthday party, I was proud of myself.  The great thing about printables is you can print as many as you need.  I liked two of the cake toppers the best so I printed lots of those.        

I do consider myself a craft person so the thought of making items from the printables didn't scare me.  Through the process of making some of the printables I learned that you don't need to be crafty to add these fun touches to your event.  Kim's detailed directions are easy to follow.  I did make a few changes to give it my personal touch but that's the great thing about the printables, you can use what you want and modify them for your needs.  I printed the straw flags and then decided to use them as napkin rings instead.  If you are concerned about printing all the items on your printer, you can take them to a copy store and have them printed.  I printed the cupcake toppers on cardstock so they would be sturdy.  The quality of the printables is very professional and I had a few people at the party wonder where I bought them.  once they found out that I made them, everyone wanted to take them home and keep them.
