Review: Games that get my children thinking creatively and playing together is a huge plus.  Both of my kids like to build, whether it's blocks, sticks or logs they are instantly attracted to building.  That's why when I saw the Candy Construction set at Learning Resources I knew it would be perfect.  Since it's a small box I added it to our beach cargo as a fun activity to have in case it rained.

Just looking at the box the kids got excited.  Thankfully there was a booklet included to get you started on the candy building.  The kids didn't need it, my daughter had suckers for everyone where as my son was building candy houses and candy cars.  The pieces are large and easy to connect together so even small hands can put them together.

There are plenty of pieces included in this set for multiple children to play together.  The pieces are very strong and withstand toddlers well.  The Candy Construction set is fun and unique.  It's great for both boys and girls...parents too.  At our house we need to work on returning the pieces to the handy box when we're done playing.  My daughter likes to carry the "suckers" around with here and share them with her baby dolls.

If you are looking for a new and creative way to get your kids off the couch and using their minds and hands to create this is a great product for your home.  It will also come in handy in the coming months when it's too cold to play outside.
